Remote Server Monitoring offers managed dedicated Nagios monitoring VPS servers. The only thing you need to do with a Nagios VPS from remote server monitoring is, adding the hosts you wish to monitor via an easy to use Nagios Administrator console. We do the management of the VPS, backups, apply security updates and so on.

We do offer host administration. With this extra service you send us a notification by e-mail of any host you wish to add or delete from your Monitoring VPS. Our infrastructure:

  • Debian (Operating System)
  • Nginx (Load Balancer)
  • 100Mbit dedicated uplink on each HomeNode server

  • PHP 5 (needed by Nagios console and administrator)
  • MySQL 5 (needed by Nagios administrator)
  • Rsync (needed for making backups)

    Our Nagios VPS servers are fully compatible with the popular Nagios Desktop utility Nagstamon.

    Nagstamon is a Nagios status monitor which resides in systray or desktop (GNOME, KDE and Windows) as floating statusbar to inform you in realtime about the status of your hosts and services. It allows to connect to multiple Nagios and Opsview servers.
